The delegates
attending to IUISC 2001 should take a
train to Killarney
Station and, from there, take a taxi to the Hotel Europe.
About
Killarney
With something
for everyone, Killarney seems to have just about everyone at once. And with
an economy based on tourism, Killarney sometimes celebrates tourism itself
rather that its extraordinarily beautiful national park or well-preserved
heritage.
In a town
congested with bureaux de change, souvenir shops and disoriented foreigners,
Killaney's charm is elusive at best.
Some attractions of the area are the neo-Gothic St.Mary's Cathedral on New
St., the Guinnes Roaring 1920's Festival, in which pubs, restaurants and
hostels bust out in jazz.
