Brendan Tangney

Is a senior lecturer in the department of computer  science in Trinity College Dublin having previously held positions in Kyoto University and SORD Computers Tokyo and Dublin.

He is founder and co-director of Trinity's Centre for Research in IT in Education (CRITE www.crite.net) a joint initiative between Trinity's departments of Education and Computer Science.
CRITE's research covers the areas of evaluation and policy of IT use for learning and the development of learning tools and environments for areas ranging from music to programming.

Brendan Tangney is co-author of "Computer Networks and Their Applications" published by Prentice Hall International and Kaibundo, Tokyo.
